Kendall Gammon is a former professional American football player renowned for his role as a long snapper and center in the NFL. He attended Pittsburg State University, where he was a pivotal member of the Gorillas' 1991 NCAA Division II National Championship team.
Selected by the Pittsburgh Steelers in the 11th round of the 1992 NFL Draft, Gammon played for the Steelers until 1995, including an appearance in Super Bowl XXX. He then joined the New Orleans Saints (1996–1999) before signing with the Kansas City Chiefs in 2000, where he played until his retirement in 2006. Notably, in 2004, Gammon became the first pure long snapper to be selected for the Pro Bowl.
After retiring from professional football, Gammon returned to Pittsburg State University, serving as the Director of Development for Intercollegiate Athletics. He also worked as an on-air talent for the Kansas City Chiefs Radio Network from 2008 to 2020.
